Recommended Homeschool Books:
The greatest "book" I've found so far isn't really
a book. It's a Kindle by Amazon. This reading
device can be taken with you anywhere and holds about 1500 books
- many available as a free download.
I personally think it's the coolest thing since sliced
bread. It has so many great features.
It's very light weight and conveniently sized. Its a huge improvement
over trying to lug around all the books you need for school. You
can use it while waiting for anything from an airplane flight
to seeing the doctor. And when you are tired of reading yourself,
it will read to you. That is great practice for children learning
to read or those wanting to improve their reading skills. You
can change the font size for ease of use. You can even download
the daily paper and read it on your Kindle.
It's the perfect gift to give a child of any age. And it's perfect
for home schooling.
Be sure to visit the Homeschool
Resources page for a list of locations that offer free downloadable
books online. Most of them can be downloaded to your Kindle or
to your computer desktop.
